Amit Shah appointed Manoj Tiwari as head of Delhi BJP

New Delhi: The President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah today appointed Manoj Tiwari as the head of Delhi unit.




According to official statement from the party, “Manoj Tiwari will replace Satish Upadhyay as BJP chief with immediate effect.”

The statement said, it also declared BJP MP Nityanand Rai as the Bihar unit chief.




Singer turned politician, Tiwari represents Northeast Delhi constituency while Rai represents Ujiarpur constituency of Bihar in the Lok Sabha.

Earlier, Mangal Pandey was the chief of the Bihar unit of the BJP.
