Amitabh Bachchan’s epic jibe at Shobhaa De after PV Sindhu’s win

New Delhi: The 27-year-old Indian, PV Sindhu made history after her victory in the semi-finals of the women’s singles badminton at the Rio Olympics. The badminton player has been receiving accolades from all over India for her win. One of the celebs who congratulated Sindhu immediately after her victory was legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Sr bachchan took to Twitter and congratulated Sindhu in a series of tweets.

Along with this, Amitabh Bachchan also attacked the author and columnist Shobhaa De without even mentioning her name.

Shobha has been trolled on Twitter for quite some time now, for her comment to the Indian sportsmen who go to Olympics. She was also attacked by cricketer Virender Sehwag soon after Indian wrestler Sakshi Malik won bronze.

However, we must admit that the Big B took things to a whole new level with his tweets.

At the semi-final match, the 21-year-old defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara 21-19, 21-10, thus making way for India in the finals and thus assuring a silver medal.
