AMU Vice Chancellor under fire for praising PM Modi

Lucknow: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor Zameer Uddin Shah has is receiving strong criticism from the Muslim personalities for praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per reports, the Chancellor of AMU is being hit upon for saying that PM Modi has accepted the Muslim community. Along with this, he said that one cannot neglect the efforts taken by him to make India achieve new heights nationally and internationally.

He further said that if the Muslims continue to ignore the ruling BJP, it will have a negative impact on the community. Recently, Shah also attended the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Muslim wing’s Muslim Rashtriya Manch’s Iftar party and thereby shared the podium with the RSS leader Indresh Kumar.

Hitting on the AMU Vice Chancellor, Shahzad Alam Burney said that previously, Shah met the one who is accused of the Muzaffarnagar riots and now shared the stage with the Malegaon blast accused.
