Andy Murray clinches Shanghai Masters title

Shanghai (China): Tennis sensation Andy Murray today thumped Spain’s Roberto Bautista in the final combat to clinch the Shanghai ATP Masters title.

Murray managed to outclass the Spanish player 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 within one hour and 36 minutes to win his third Shanghai Masters after the editions in 2010 and 2011.

However, Bautista went on to climb from the 19th to the 13th position on the ATP ranking despite facing defeat in the finals of the Shanghai ATP Masters.
