Angry Akhilesh assures ‘strict’ action in Mathura violence

The Chief Minster of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Friday assured that ‘strict action’ will be taken against thoes who were involved in provoking Mathura violence which happened on Thursday evening and had taken total of 24 lives including two senior police officers.

CM Akhilesh tweeted on his account that “Uttar Pradesh government will ensure the strictest action under law against the perpetrators in the Mathura incident, speedy prosecution of the accused,”

Akhilesh also extends his full support and greef to the family members of police officals.

In another tweet he said that ” My deepest Condolence go to the families of the bravehearts who lost live during the violence in Mathura and my government will ensure complete support to their families”.

Mr CM announced that ex-gratia of Rs 20 lacks each will be given to the families of the two bravehearts.

About Mathura violence which took place on Thursday evening, protesters opened fire at police persons team which went to Jawahar Bagh in Mathura to get people evicted after the order of Allahabad High Court.
