Anil Kumble appointed as head coach of Team India by BCCI

Dharamsala: Former India skipper Anil Kumble has been appointed as the new head coach of the Indian national cricket team for the next one year by the BCCI President Anurag Thakur.

BCCI’s Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) took the decision subsequent to Sourav Ganguly, along with Sachin Tendulkar and V.V.S. Laxman, met Thakur and Secretary Ajay Shirke at the ongoing cricket conclave here.

Upcoming four-match Test tour to the West Indies next month will be the first series as coach for Kumble with the national team.
