Lucknow: The Chief Minister (CM) of ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav removed the name of the youngest daughter-in-law of the Yadav family, Aparna Yadav from a separate list of 235 candidates released by him yesterday for the upcoming state assembly polls lined up in early 2017.

Her name was kept forwarded by the Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s wife Sadhna Yadav who came out in support of Aparna Yadav who is the wife of younger son of Mulayam, Prateek Yadav.

Interestingly, Akhilesh Yadav’s parallel list of 235 candidates came after his father Mulayam had released a list of 325 candidates in consultation with his brother Shivpal Singh Yadav.

At the time when the list was released by Mulayam Sijngh Yadav, Akhilesh was not in the state capital as he was on a visit to Agra. Several names of Akhilesh’s supporters were sidelined from the list.
