Aparna’s NGO received huge financial aid during Samajwadi Party regime, RTI reveals

Lucknow: According to the information given by the Right to Information, nearly 86% of financial grant released by the previous Samajwadi government for NGOs working for cow welfare went directly to the NGO of Aparna Yadav. Aparna Yadav is younger daughter in law of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav.

In a reply to RTI filed by social activist Nutan Thakur, U.P. Gau Sewa Aayog stated that from 2012 to 2017, it endorsed ₹9.66 crore, of which ₹8.35 crore (86.4%) went to Jeev Ashraya, the NGO run by Aparna Yadav. From the period 2012-17, the NGO of Aparna Yadav received ₹49.89 lakh, ₹1.25 crore, ₹1.41 crore, ₹2.58 crore, ₹2.55 crore respectively.

Aparna Yadav runs a NG0 at Amausi in Lucknow and the Aayog -comes under State Animal Husbandry department and provides financial assistance to all the organisations who work for the protection and welfare of the cows.
