Srinagar: Home Ministry on Wednesday said that the terrorist, who was captured alive by the security forces in Kashmir after the fierce gunbattle, has been identified as a Pakistani national.
The terrorist identified as Bahadur Ali was captured alive by the security forces whereas the other four were killed in gunbattle which took place near Nowgam sector near Kupwara district. All the militants belong to the Pakistan based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba.
Ali was trained in guerrilla warfare by LeT.
The security forces recovered three AK-47 rifles, two pistols and Rs. 23,000 from the arrested terrorist.
Home Ministry in a statement said that the terrorists had entered the Kashmir Valley from Teethwal area of PoK.
