New Delhi: In a strange development in the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has suddenly jumped into support of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung saying that he is a good man with bad political bosses. Kejriwal also backed Jung saying that people shouldn’t criticize him for his deeds as he has just been doing the same that PMO has been asking him to.

“Congress n BJP both demanding Sh Najeeb Jung’s removal? Strange. Is he at fault? No. He is doin what PMO is asking him to do. Removing him will not help. His successor wud also do same if PMO kept interfering. Real solution is PMO shud stop interfering in Delhi (sic),” Kejriwal said in a series of tweets.

“Sh Najeeb Jung is a good man with bad political bosses,” he added.

Earlier, the Congress party has sought removal of the Lt. Governor alleging that Jung has undermined the federal basis of the constitution and so should be expelled immediately.

“The Lieutenant Governor has completely undermined the federal basis of the constitution. He has completely acted as an agent of the central government,” said Congress leader Manish Tewari.

“He is not fit to occupy this position. The sooner he is removed, the better is for India’s federalism,” he added.

Earlier on Friday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parliamentarian Udit Raj had dubbed Jung as a ‘Super King’ and had also sought his removal.
