Arvind Kejriwal to protest against demonetisation through the country

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced today that he will demonstrate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policy of currency demonetization throughout the country including Parliamenrty constituency Varanasi.




According to Aam Admi Party (AAP) announced that Kejriwal will hold six rallies in next upcoming four weeks, including Prime Minister Lok Sabha constituency.

AAP said that it will demonstrate against the demonetization of currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 in all district headquarters on November 28th in the country.

The AAP leader Ashish Khetan said while speaking to media persons, “It is a Rs 8 lakh crore scam”, he referred this to the decision of Narendra Modi’s currency demonetisaton announced by the Prime Minister on November 8th that has created chash chaos in the country.




He further said that AAP will hold public rallies in first party which will start from cities of Uttar Pradesh like Meerut, Varanasi and Lucknow on December 1, 7 and 18 respectively and again on December 20, 22 and 23 they will reach the people of Bhopal, Ranchi and Jaipur.

Khetan added that his party chief Kejriwal had earlier this month accused the Prime Minister of receiving bribes while he was the Gujarat Chief Minister and sought a judicial probe into the issue.

The AAP has strongly opposed the central government’s demonetisation move announced on November 8 and demanded its rollback.
