Ashish Nehra wishes to be part of ICC Champions Trophy

New Delhi: Indian speedster Ashish Nehra today expressed his desire to be part of the Indian squad for the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions Trophy and said that his experience will prove beneficial for Team India.

ICC champions’ trophy will take place in England in the month of June and there will be a lot of assistance for the pace bowlers and with the kind of experience that Nehra has over the years, he can be an asset for the team.

Nehra previously played his last 50-over match back in the 2011 World Cup semi-final against Pakistan. Talking to media he stated that when team tours England then usually there are 3-4 bowlers in the pace department along with a couple of spinners and so he can be very much beneficial for the team as he possesses the quality of bowling at any stage of the innings.

Nehra has in the recent past given some impressive performances in the shorter version of the game i.e T20 matches and has proved him as an experienced lad who can bowl anywhere and anytime when the team needs his service.
