Ashwin injured during practice session for WI tour

Bengaluru (Karnataka): Indian cricket team off-spinner bowler Ravichandran Ashwin got injured today during practice session at preparatory camp in Bengaluru before the start of four Test series in West Indies.

With Ashwin this injury speculation has stared arising weather he will be able to participate in upcoming West Indies tour.

Supervise by newly appointed chief coach Anil Kumble, the Indian team started training camp at The National Cricket Academy ahead of the Caribbean sojourn which starts on July 21st .

According to our sources, Ashwin was hit by a ball on his right arm during the ongoing training season but after the injury he left the ground with a bandage on his injured hand.

It is important to notice that bowling tracks in West Indies are spinners friendly, in the recently concluded tri-series involving the hosts, Australia and South Africa, so from this point of view Ashwin must be key factor for team India.
