Assailants gang-rape Dalit woman again in Rohtak

Rohtak: In a heinous incident, a 20-year-old Dalit woman was gang-raped in Rohtak, Haryana by the same men who were accused of raping her in 2013.

As per reports, the woman was abducted by the men from her college on Wednesday who drugged her and then raped her. They then dumped her in the Sukhpura Chowk area of the city and left her to die. The victim was noticed by the passerby who then admitted her to a nearby hospital.

The assailants who were out on bail in the gang-rape case were pressurizing the family for a settlement. Also, the victim’s family had moved to Rohtak so as to escape harassment from the men.

As of now, the police have booked Anil alias Bittu, Aakash, Mausam Kumar, Raju alias Jagmohan and Sandeep Singh, however the arrests are yet to be made. The accused are in their late 20s.
