The ceremony will be held in Khanapara and will be attended by more than 1 lakh people.

As per media reports, AGP and BPF are to get two berths each in the cabinet, however the Parafulla Kumar Mahanta-led party has been demanding for three instead of two.

Post Sarma’s rebellion, out of the nine MLAs who had left the Congress, six contested in these won and emerged as winners.

A source said, “People who have worked their way up in the party would have to be accommodated; there are also people the RSS wants in the cabinet.”

The oath taking ceremony will also be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.
