Srinagar: At least three Indian army soldiers were killed after some gunmen opened fire on vehicles carrying army men in south Kashmir’s Pulwana district today.
According to army officials, militants fired incessantly at the army convoy near the Kadlabal area of Pampore.
After firing at the army conveys the militants then fled from the spot, later a massive search operation was underway.
It was the second attack in Pampore this year. Earlier, army convoys have been attacked several times along this stretch of the highway that connects Srinagar and Jammu.

The attack comes just days after two militants were killed on in separate encounters with security forces in Anantnag and Baramulla districts.
