ATP rankings: Rafael Nadal and his dominance continues

Madrid: Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles rankings released today showed Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal is still the ruling king and is firm at the number one spot.

Nadal is the 16-time Grand Slam champion and has managed to maintain the top spot and is one spot ahead of Switzerland’s Roger Federer.

Britain’s Andy Murray came in third, followed by fourth-placed Marin Cilic of Croatia. Germany’s Alexander Zverev was in fifth place. The current ATP rankings and point scores show Rafael Nadal (Spain) 10,465 points at the first place followed by Roger Federer (Switzerland) 8,505 at the second spot with Andy Murray (UK) 5,290 next and then Marin Cilic (Croatia) 4,505, Alexander Zverev (Germany) 4,400, Dominic Thiem (Austria) 3,935, Novak Djokovic (Serbia) 3,765, Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria) 3,650, Stan Wawrinka (Switzerland) 3,450, David Goffin (Belgium) 2,840.
