Sydney: The Australian cricket team is planning to practice in Dubai for their upcoming Test series against India.

Basically, the motive of the Australian cricket team is to practice at different pitches to seek more control over the Indian pitches.

The Australians will be facing world’s number one team in world in Test format from next month which has been tagged “closest thing to mission impossible” for the visitors as they have not won a Test in India since 2004.

The Cricket Australia’s high performance general manager Pat Howard told media persons, “India is not going to be same everywhere, so we need to prepare ourselves accordingly.”

The team has decided to start its performance camp at Dubai’s state-of-the-art International Cricket Council (ICC) Academy, which has been planned to help avoid a repeat of Australia’s terrible defeat against Indian’s in the year 2013 in which they have lost all four Test.

Australia’s national selector Rod Marsh recently visited Dubai academy and took a lead design and development role which has two full-sized floodlit ovals and more than 30 grass pitches constructed on different soils from around the cricket world.
