It feels amazing to get honoured: Sonam

Mumbai: Rumors had it that actress Sonam Kapoor was upset about losing her award to Alia Bhatt but opposing the reports, Sonam is least bothered about the way the awards nominations have gone for her performance in her previous movie ‘Neerja’.

While talking to the media, Sonam expressed her happiness on being a part of such a happening and important movie like Neerja and went on to say that: “Except for one awards ceremony I was recognized by every awards committee for my performance. I couldn’t have asked for more.”

Sonam officially turned down all the rumors about her concern that she lost her award to Alia and denies feeling any such offence.

She further went on to say that: “I don’t know how or where these observations come from. I am very happy with the outcome. I am happy that I was part of a film as important as Neerja. The awards are a perk. If I didn’t win, I’d still feel the same level of satisfaction with what we achieved with Neerja. The important thing is, the film connected with the audience.”
