Azam Khan wants probe of Zakir Naik speeches

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh): Senior Samajwadi Party leader and Urban Development minister in Uttar Pardesh government Mohd Azama Khan today demanded from Centre ruling party to set up panel to probe activities of Islam preacher Zakir Naik.

Khan has demanded from Centre government to probe the activities and speeches for Zakir Naik.

Azam said: “The central government should form a panel to probe Naik’s activities and action should be taken against him if he is found embroiled in anti-national acts.”

The speech of Zakir Naik has come under scanner and scrutiny after it was reported that his speech has inspired some of Dhaka cafe attackers.

Khan also ruled out any kind of electoral alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Dal which was founded and the president of the party Chaudhary Ajit Singh.

Azam further added that, “Samajwadi Party has no seat left in Rajya Sabha to give.”
