Baba Ramdev requests PM Modi to launch campaign to free PoK

Rohtak: Amid going protests by the locals in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir against the rigged polls, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch a campaign to free PoK.

Ramdev in his statement said, “Prime Minister Modi should begin a campaign to free PoK. Nawaz Sharif has the nerve to say that Pakistan will take Kashmir at any cost. Our children look at Kashmir only on the maps but Pakistan has captured it. When a cowardly nation captures a part of a great nation, we can`t just sit silently.”

This appeal of Ramdev to the PM Modi comes amidst protests going on by the locals against the rigged polls in which Nawaz Sharif’ PML-N won 32 out the total 41 seats. Yesterday, the angry locals blackened the election posters and also burnt the Pakistani flag in Neelum Valley area.

The angry local who are holding protests said that they were not allowed to cast their votes and that the Pakistan’s ISI and others manipulated the votes which thereby saw Sharif winning in the elections. They called the elections fixed.

PoK is the region which was divided between India and Pakistan in 1948 after a war and it still is the reason to the bad relations between the two nations.

The residents of have openly stated that they want to be part of India as they are said to be quite impressed with PM Modi style of governance. Also, chairman of the Anjuman Minhaj-e-Rasool, Moulana Syed Athar Hussain Dehlavi, who have gone to PoK had said that people living here want to be a part of India as they are quite unhappy with the growing extremism here.
