Khudai Khidmatgar (“Servants of God”) foundation will be performing several skits, seminars and events in the upcoming three months in Uttar Pradesh to promote the communal harmony in the state. This organization was set up in the year 1931 and has been revived in the year 2011.
Khān Abdul Ghaffār Khān was a political and spiritual leader known for his nonviolent opposition, and a lifelong peace lover. He was nicknamed the “Frontier Gandhi” in British India and was also a close friend of Mohandas Gandhi and was also the founder of the Khudai Khidmatgar.
Khudai Khidmatgar was revived in the year 2011 by Faizal Khan through hands of Tara Gandhi, the great grand-daughter of Mahatma Gandhi. Among the key active members of the group are Ashwani Singh, Hafeez Kidwai, Anurag Shukla, Sachin Sharma, Anas, Ashish Yadav, Hazeeb, Razi Ul.
This organization will be working in Uttar Pradesh for the communal harmony by going to several cities in UP. The message will be portrayed by them through skits, theatre, group communication and several other seminars that will be conducted in the coming three months.
There will be youth leadership campaign programme conducted along with the awareness programme regarding RTI and RTE. Another eventful thing to be witnessed during this campaign will be the documentaries and short films regarding the several freedom fighters.
