Banning Pakistani artists will not stop terrorism says Radhika Apte

Mumbai: The ‘Kabali Actress’ Radhika Apte today while attending an event of Swatch watches stated that she thinks that cultural exchange between two countries should not be banned.

Radhika Apte while expressing her solidarity towards Indian army and condemning terrorism took a stand in favour of Pakistani artists.

Addressing about attack in Uri, Radhika stated that, “All I feel is whatever is happening is disastrous and sad. It is beyond my comprehension. We are not there in person. We can only sympathise. There are no words in which I can express my solidarity.”

Radhika while talking in favor of Pakistani actors said “If Swatch watches can come to India, Pakistani actors should also be allowed to come here and do films in India. I don’t think they should be banned.”

The Kabali girl expressing her thought on political call to ban Pakistani actors cited that huge fraction in Bollywood came in support of Pakistani artists and sighed that slamming ban on artists will not stop terrorism.

Her statement marked headlines after Karan Johar and Salman Khan spoke out in favor of Pakistani artist arguing to disassociate terrorism from cultural exchange.

Nana Patekar was the only actor who came in support of this political move and has kept country superior to artists coming from a nation which is a root-cause of spreading terrorism.
