BCCI postponed one-off India-Bangladesh Test

Hyderabad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed one-off Test between India and Bangladesh from 8th February to 9th February and now it will take place from Feb 9th-13th here.




Hyderabad Cricket Association secretary, John Manoj confirmed to media persons “We have received the notification from BCCI. The game will start on Thursday instead of Wednesday, February 8th.”

The BCCI feels that overall crowd attendance over five days will be better with the game beginning on a Thursday.




The Bangladesh team has recently toured India in the past for multi-team events but has never played a Test or bilateral series against the home team.

The visiting team Bangladesh is currently playing in New Zealand and they are expected to arrive in India by February 1st, after which they would play a three-day warm-up match followed by the Test.
