Big B touched as Prez calls him ‘living legend’

Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who earned the best actor honour at 63rd National Awards ceremony, has said that he was humbled when President Pranab Mukherjee mentioned the actor during his speech.

President, while praising veterans and newcomers in the list of winners, remarked ‘Pink’ actor as ‘living legend’.

Amitabh received the best actor award for his exemplary performance in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’.

The actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Back from Delhi and National Award! So humbled and touched, for President of India to take my name in his speech!”

In the ceremony, Amitabh was accompanied with his family.
