Bihar woman detained at IGI; was heading to Afghanistan to join ISIS

New Delhi: On Sunday morning, a woman from Bihar was detained at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the national capital along with her son as she was reportedly heading for Afghanistan to join the terror outfit ISIS.

As per reports, the 28-year-old was to board a flight to Kabul along with her 5-year-old son. She has been identified as Yasmeen Muhammed who hails from Patna.

If reports are to be believed, the she was supposed to join the 21 youths from Kerala who has been missing since the last month. These missing youths are believed to have joined the ISIS.

The arrested woman who is a divorcee has been handed over to the Delhi Police’s special cell after which she was taken into custody by Kerala Police. Yasmeen is now in judicial custody.
