BJP MLA Swami Prasad Maurya likely to ride on Samajwadi Party

New Delhi: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Swami Prasad Maurya is expected to ride on Samajwadi Party (SP) as he is dissatisfied with the distribution of tickets among the Saffron party for the upcoming state assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.




Interestingly, Maurya has joined Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) after quitting Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) about six months back.

According to our sources, Maurya has demanded tickets for his supporters apart for his son and daughter including himself about which the party has not taken decision till yet.




The leader might decide on affiliation with the Saffron Party after candidates list is announced.

Maurya is expected to take on stern decision if the BJP is not going to fulfill his demands made by him over distribution of tickets to his supporters and family members.




The meeting of BJP Central Election Committee (CEC) is to take place tomorrow at 11 am to finalise remaining list of candidates for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand polls.
