BJP MP Maheish Girri ends hunger strike

New Delhi: Maheish Girri, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Lok Sabha member from East Delhi today ended his fast-unto-death outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh convinced Girri “not to put his life at stake” after he reached the Civil Lines where Girri was sitting on a hunger strike.

A glass of juice was offered by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, which he drank to break his two-day fast.
