BRICS Summit recognised “state sponsored and state protected terrorism” as “biggest” challenge: Sushma

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today went on to say that recently concluded BRICS Summit in Goa had recognised that the “state sponsored and state protected terrorism” is the “biggest” challenge.

“State sponsored and state protected terrorism is the biggest challenge: BRICS Summit saw a growing recognition that there cannot be business as usual when it comes to dealing with terrorism,” Sushma Swaraj said.

The minister stressed that “terrorism is universally recognised as a key threat to peace, a truly global challenge”.
