Bulandshahr Gang-Rape: Assailants involved in 50 dacoity, rape incidents

Bulandshahr: In a new development in the Bulandshahr Gang-Rape, the six accused that are undergoing interrogation, came up with shocking revelations. The assailants in their statement to the police said that they have been involved in more than 50 gang rapes and loots.

The main accused of the gang-rape, Salim Bawaria said that on June 30 his gang looted a family in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan and also raped the girl in the family. He further said that after raping the girl, the gang attacked her and she succumbed to the injuries in the hospital.

Further during interrogation, Salim said that in the month of July, his gang carried out four incidents of loots on the National Highway 91 and they were also involved in the gang-rape incident in Khurja area.

They have also carried out dacoity and rape in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Bihar and Uttarakhand.

The Bulandshahr Gang-Rape took place in the night on July 29. The gang of Salim not only looted the family heading to Shahranpur but also raped a woman and her 13-year-old daughter. All six accused in the case have been arrested.
