New Delhi: The messaging app hike messenger launched three new features that includes- built-in-camera, stories and timeline feature that was rolled out last year, which can be a direct threat to Snapchat and other apps.
Kavin Mittal, Founder and CEO of hike messenger stated: “Stories is a new way for people on hike to share their lives and real moments with their friends through photos and videos”.
In detail, the ‘story’ feature shows the user that how many people have seen that particular story not like the ‘loves’ that was featured on the timeline previously.
The app also features its own build-in-camera with live filters feature that uses to the camera mechanically detect and make out the users face.
hike includes 12 filters, one of the filter replaces the user’s face into Narendra Modi’s face that seems interesting. To this Kavin Mittal further went on to say that “In honour of our prime minister who is doing all the great work, we launch the Live Filter of Narendra Modi”.
He also added on the fact that: “One of our goals for 2016 has been to bring photos at the centre of hike and stories and live filters, we are doing just that. I really believe camera is the new keyboard”.
