Cloudy day ahead in Delhi, cooler nights expected

New Delhi: According to the information given by the weather office, the minimum temperature recorded in Delhi was at 24 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average and the sky is expected to be a little cloudy as the day will progress.

“The sky would remain partly cloudy in the day ahead,” an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The maximum temperature would hover around 41 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 44 per cent.

Friday’s maximum temperature was two notches above the season’s average at 40.6 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average.
