New Delhi: Delhiites witnessed a cloudy Tuesday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average. Rains in the capital bring relief to the people by bringing down the soaring temperature here, said the weather office.
An official of the Indian Meteorological Department said, “The sky will remain partly cloudy and rain/thundershower is likely to occur in some parts of Delhi and NCR region.”
10.2mm of rainfall was witnessed between 8:30 am on Monday and 8:30 am on Tuesday.
Maximum temperature in the day is likely to be around 38 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperature on Monday was at 40.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average while minimum temperature was recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average.
