Cold wave takes life of nine in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: According to the information given by the official, nine people have lost their lives till now in the northern parts of India, especially Uttar Pradesh, due to the cold wave and dipping temperature.

If predictions by the weatherman are to be believed, there will be even colder days coming ahead, as the temperatures will dip even further due to cold winds.

The Met office gave information that the mercury will be coming down on consistent basis and will start getting better only after January 19 gradually.

State capital recorded season’s lowest temperature at 0.4 degrees Celsius, which was seven degrees below normal, making it the coldest place in the state. All schools from class I to VIII were shut till January 16.
