New Delhi: Veteran actor Razak Khan passed away at 12:30 am on Wednesday. As per reports, Khan suffered massive heart attack and was thereby rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra where he was declared dead.
On Wednesday morning, the actor’s brother took to Facebook and announced about Razak’s death in a post. Razak who has been seen mainly in comic roles, has done more than 100 films in the past 25 years.
Reports are that the star’s son Asad who works in Croatia would reach India today and last rites of the actor would be performed at the Nariyalwadi Cemetery, Byculla on Thursday afternoon.
Razak Khan was more famous by his onscreen names – Golden Bhai, Lucky Chikna, Keshav, Manikchand, Fainku, Babu Bisleri, Popatwala rather by his real name.
Some of the films in which Razak was seen are – ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’ series, don Kabira’s sidekick in ‘Baadshah’, ‘Raja Hindustani’, ‘Hello Brother’, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhagam Bhaag’, ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare’, ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’, ‘Loha’ and ‘Ishq’.
Bollywood took to the social media offered condolence to the star.
