Congress attacks PM Modi government on 2 years in office, says ‘Kiska saath, kahan hai vikas’

New Delhi: As Narendra Modi-led government completes two years in office, the opposing Congress launched a scathing attack on it by saying that the main agenda of the government is ‘only bhashan, no shasan’ (only speeches, no governance).

Along with this, while addressing a press conference in the national capital, the senior leaders of the party – Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Kharge, Kapil Sibal and Randeep Surjewala rubbished all the claims made by BJP, by saying that no change has been brought in the country in the past two years.

Kapil Sibal said, “Why this – two years of Modi government – is being celebrated? What is there to celebrate? Have jobs being created, do farmers get 50% profit over and above the input cost, is there safety in the country?”

Taking a jibe at PM Modi, Sibal added, “Kiska Saath, Kahah Hai Vikas.”

He further said that PM Modi gives speeches every 45 hours, however he is yet to answer any question.

Sometime back, Ghulam also celebrated the failures of BJP by saying, “Investment is low, food inflation, job creation is lowest. They promised 2 crore jobs and people got only 1.35 lakh. Exports also falling. There is major agricultural distress. But the government has done nothing to help farmers, especially in this time of drought.”

He added, “Make in India is an abject failure, Babbar Sher is a meow cat.”

Adding further he said, “This government has become famous for repackaging UPA schemes because they are incapable of conceiving a new scheme.”

Also, the BJP leader said that these achievements which are being highlighted by BJP have being made due to provocation by the BJP leaders, controversies, mob violence.
