Cylinder blast kills seven in Barabanki

Barabanki: A massive explosion caused due to a cylinder blast in Tera Khurd Kala village here on Wednesday, killed at least 7 people including five children. Two women also died in the incident.

Nearly 8 more children, who are injured in the blast, have been rushed to Lucknow’s civil hospital.

The incident happened under Deva Police Station.

Blast occurred in a house during pre-marriage rituals.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced 2 lakhs compensation for the families of people who lost their lives and 50,000 for injured.
