Dawood Ibrahim ready to surrender, puts condition before government

Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim lawyer Shyam Keswani today claimed that his client ready to return home but puts certain condition over his extradition.

Shyam told media persons that Dawood is ready to surrender but he has laid one condition that he should not be kept under Mumbai’s based Arthur road jail after surrender.

He further said that Dawood had also offered to surrender a few years ago during the UPA government but due to the government did not accept his conditions he has not surrendered.

Dawood who is holed up in Pakistan has indicated to his men that he wishes to be buried in India.

Dawood Ibrahim who runs several businesses has been hit hard off late. Recently following a request by the Indian government, UAE liquidated properties worth Rs 15,000 crore run by Dawood’s benamis.
