New Delhi: A 21-year-old molester, known as ‘Crazy Sumit’ today detained by the Delhi Police who use to post videos of the ‘Prank’ on social media after kissing young girls on the street and run away.




According to Delhi Police, the accused youth identified as Sumit is currently perusing Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA), is a student of WCTC collage inn Gurugram has been arrested by police along with his friend Satyajeet Kandyan, 23, who assist Sumit as camera man to shoot the prank videos.

Police said that they have arrested the two accused from Ashok Vihar Phase-3 area in Gurugram after raiding the house of Summit yesterday night.




A senior police officer said, “We tracked both of them after examining the CCTV footage of a restaurant where they were partying few days back in Gurugram.”

The officer further said, “On questioning, Sumit told interrogators that he played the prank for gaining publicity, and claimed that girls whom he kissed in the prank videos uploaded on social media were known to him and are his friends.”




The Delhi police said on January 7th that they will surely take action against the culprits on the videos which were uploaded by accused on social media which went viral on Youtube.
