Delhi sees fifth murder in three days

There cannot be a shameful thing for Indian capital than this as the city has witnessed five murders in last three days in different parts. Incidents of shooting were reported from areas like Shalimar Bagh, Krishna Nagar, and New Usmanpur.

The woman was shot dead in Shalimar Bagh on Tuesday night. The incident took place when the woman identified Priya Mehra, was returning from a Gurudwara with her husband Pankaj Mehra and two-year-old son.

The family was commuting in a car, when another speeding car overtook them. The car-borne assailants held out a gun and attempted to fire at Pankaj, however, Priya suffered severe bullet injuries. Both the infant and the Pankaj escaped unscathed, while Priya died.

In another similar incident, two men were shot dead in separate incidents by unidentified bike-borne men in north Delhi’s New Usmanpur and Krishna Nagar area of Shahdara on Monday.
