Direct entry to India Runway Week won by 3 fashion students

New Delhi: According to the information given by the sources, three fortunate fashion students from the National Capital Region have won straight entry to the forthcoming India Runway Week.

All the three winners of the DsyN BlooM contest structured by Vaatsaalyaa Charitable Trust for Education, are identified as Himanshi Koli from JankiDevi Cocational Centre, Yashfa from Design Zone and Simran from the International Polytechnic for Women will be showcasing their designs at ‘Asia’s youngest fashion trade event’ which is planned to be held next month.

The golden chance to the lucky winners was given by the jury that comprised of fashion photographer Rohit Suri, Sonia Jetley, Designers Niket Mishra, Manish Tripathi, Rohini Gugnani, and Megha & Jigar.

Vaatsaalyaa structured the event at different fashion institutes to give a global platform to all the youngsters in order to showcase their talent and prove their worth.

While talking to the media, Jetley expressed the experience of judging an event and went on to say: “It was very tough to decide whom to give a chance because all entries were so technically balanced and the designs were really good.”

The Chairman of the Vaatsaalyaa Trust, Kappil Kishor went on to say: “The aim was to promote young design students and freelance designers who are technically qualified. The kind of talent I saw in the contest this year was remarkable.”
