England to play series with host India from November 9

Mumbai: England cricket team to play five matches Test series followed by three ODI’s and three Twenty 20 Internationals against host India while touring the country which will start from November 9th.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made this announcement in Mumbai of Friday.

BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke told media persons, that England team will begin its tour with opening Test from November 9th which will be played at Rajkot and then team will movie to Visakhapatnam and Mohali.

The last two test matches will be played in Mumbai and Chennai.

Rajkot and Visakhapatnam will host their first ever Test respectively when India play their five-Test series against England starting November 9th.

The England team will then take a break for Christmas tour and will resume the tour from January 15th with first ODI to be played at Pune.

On January 19th England team to play in Cuttack, while third ODI match will be played at Eden Garden in Kolkata.

The team in their last leg of tour will play T20 format game at Kanpur, Nagpur and Bengaluru.
