Ex-JD (U) MP detained for girl’s death

New Delhi: According to the information given by the police, Ex- Member of Parliament of the Janata Dal (United) Suryadeo Singh has been put behind the bar today over a small girl’s death when he opened fire in Bihar’s Rohtas district.




Talking about the incident, a party leader went on to say that taking the matter into consideration, the Janata Dal (United) has suspended Singh from the party’s primary membership.




As per the reports given by the police, a land dispute prompted Singh and his supporters to open fire yesterday.
The officer further went on to say: “Singh was arrested after villagers complained that it was he who opened fire which resulted in the killing of the girl and injuries to four others.”

The former legislator’s wife and five others were also arrested.
