Kabul: Early on Monday, an explosion hit a minibus in Afghan capital, Kabul. The explosion left many dead and wounded, however it is not clear as to who all were inside the bus.
An eyewitness in his statement to a news agency said that the deceased and two of the wounded victims were taken out of the bus. As of now, the police and the ambulance have reached the site to carry out rescue operations. The explosion site has been cordoned off.
The victims of the attack are yet to be identified, however an official said that the yellow bus was carrying government employees to their offices here. However, another official said that the passengers may have been Nepalese security contractors.
The exact cause of the blast has not been known yet.
