Fake news, not assaulted anyone: Arjun Rampal

Mumbai: According to the information given by the police, in an incident that took place today in the morning in a club where a complaint was lodged against Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal for assaulting a man but the actor deny any such thing and called the news fake and said that he did not assault anyone.




The actor took to express his anger on spreading such news on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Woke up to be flooded by messages of assaulting a fan? Man! Where do people make this news up from? Not assaulted anyone. Untrue. Fake news.”




The incident occurred at Club Privee in a complex at Ashoka Road around 3.30 a.m. on Sunday.

According to the complaint, Arjun got infuriated over a photographer trying to click his photos.

He allegedly snatched the camera and threw it, which then hit Shobhit, the complainant, on his head and injured him.




While taking to the media, Delhi Police spokesperson Madhur Verma went to say: “(Arjun) Rampal allegedly attacked a man with camera. An investigation is being done.”

According to the police, the CCTV footage of the club is being investigated.
