Former Delhi’s Minister Sandeep involved in sex CD, surrendered before police

New Delhi: Delhi’s former Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister Sandeep Kumar, who is sacked and his primary membership has been suspended by the AAP, today surrendered before the Delhi Police.

Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Admi Party (AAP) today suspended primary membership of its Minister Sandeep Kumar, who was sacked after his involvement in sex CD video emerged.

AAP’s Delhi convener Dilip Pandey told media persons, “In a high-level meeting held on Saturday morning, the party suspended primary membership of Sandeep Kumar.”

He added that further decision on terminating him from the party will be taken later.

The AAP on Wednesday night sacked former Social Welfare and Women and Child Development Minister Sandeep Kumar after a video emerged showing him in an “objectionable position” with a woman.

Sandeep Kumar defended himself on Thursday, saying he had resigned on his own and that he had been targeted because he was a Dalit.
