Four Indian army officials dead in Cheetah helicopter crash

West Bengal: In a shocking incident an Indian army’s Cheetah Helicopter incidentally crashed while landing in West Bengal’s Sukhna district today, resulting in killing of three of its officials.




According to army sources, three Army officers killed and one Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) is critical injured after a Cheetah helicopter crashed.

The incident took place around 10:30 am. Soon after the incident, Army officials along with local rescue team rushed to the spot.




Reportedly, it was a routine mission operating from Sukna and the crash happened when the chopper was landing. The crash site is located inside Sukna military base, near the helipad.
