Mumbai: Haider star Shahid Kapoor says though his wife Mira is a fun-loving person but she misses that side of her life because now she can’t be free to go out as now people know her and she is not happy with the fame which restricts her to stay connected to reality.
Shahid and Mira wed last year and recently welcomed their first baby girl Misha. The actor gave credit to his wife for bringing him closer to the real world and this was something which was missing in his life before marriage.
The star further went on to say: “There are so many things that Mira tells me, which are just so normal and I am still connected with that. I had probably forgotten 50 percent of that, but she brings them right back at my life. Like, the price of petrol may be and how much I spend on online shopping”.
Shahid disclosed the fact that he takes Mira’s suggestion for script narration and said: “She is 13 years younger than me so, she shows me the perspective of my audience…Sometimes when I read a script and can’t relate to it, she looks at me and is like ‘are you insane? This is exactly what normal people talk about. How can you not relate to this?'”
Shahid’s life has completely changed with the addition of new born baby girl Misha to the Kapoor family and the fatherhood gives him strength to work hard and fight for his daughter.
The actor added, “It (fatherhood) gives me a lot of strength. I feel very strong, because I want to fight for Misha, be my best for her. That’s inherently the feeling every morning. I want her to be proud of me”.
