Good news for UP bus passengers

Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath has launched free wi-fi services at 74 bus stations, in 66 district headquarters.

Even better, Yogi also laid the foundation stone for three new bus stations at Meerut, Amroha and Ghaziabad.

In addition, water ATMs to give clean and cold drinking water to passengers at Ghaziabad, Etawah, Agra, Mathura, Moradabad, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Allahabad, Hardoi and Rampur bus stations were also launched.

On an interesting note, of the water ATMs inaugurated by the BJP government in UP, four are in Rampur, Etawah, Hardoi and Azamgarh — the Samajwadi Party den in the political circle.

Passengers would be able to use the Wi-Fi services with unlimited surfing with the help of an app called TG Connect.

Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated automatic driving test tracks at Varanasi, Allahabad, Meerut and Ghaziabad.

Adityanath was quite happy with the performance of the transport department.
