New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party Minister Anil Vij yesterday, firmly stated that all those who are in favor of the Delhi University student Gurmehar Kaur are indirectly supporting Pakistan and should be thrown out of the country.

The five-time MLA, Anil Vij strongly criticized Kaur for playing politics over her father’s death and while talking to the media on the sidelines of the ongoing state Assembly session, he went on to say: “It is very wrong and condemnable that Gurmehar has tried to do politics over her father’s martyrdom.”

Vij further went on to say: “Pakistan ever since its inception has been fighting direct or proxy wars with India. And a martyr’s daughter is giving clean chit to Pakistan, it is not appropriate. Such people have no right to live here and should be thrown out of the country.”

Earlier the minister tweeted, “People supporting #GurmeharKaur blaming war for her #Kargilmartyr father are Pro #Pakistan should be thrown out of #India.”

Kaur landed in controversy after she launched a social media campaign against ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad). She was also threatened with rape and death allegedly by the ABVP activists.
